Oh writing, how I miss thee...

I know a lot of people out there have made New Years resolutions to do many things.  Many of those people in our certain reader/writer circles have made goals to read X amount of books, or to start writing that novel they've always wanted to write.

I would LOVE to make some goals like that.

But at the moment, I can't.

And I have a confession:  I haven't read anything in SO long.  Like I think the last time I finished a book was back in October?  And I haven't written anything in far longer than I would like either.

But here is the reason:

Yes, as you can tell from the rain and mud puddles, I do indeed live in Washington where it is wet all winter...

The hubbster and I bought this house back in October and have been working our butts off to renovate it.  It needed a lot of work done.  The kitchen was pretty much a hallway.  The living room was tiny.  It's living spaces did not fit the number of bedrooms it had.  Literally EVERY room in the house needed to be painted.  So we have been doing a TON of work on it.

And I mean a ton.  Since my husbands business is seasonal, he's been able to work full-time on the house.  Like 6 days a week from 8-5 on it.  And then I've been over there at least every afternoon as well helping out.

We are finally onto the last leg and there is a chance we might actually be able to move into it this weekend.  And then, for the first time EVER, I will have a REAL office!!!!  I've been writing in various random places the last few years, but mostly in my dining room.  See that octagonal shaped room on the house?  The one on the right?  That's my office!  How cool is that!

So, once we are settled, I can finally get back to work.  I can finally get back into a project I had barely started before I had to take a break.  And I think you're all going to be very excited about it.  But more on that when I can actually get back to work!

So until the move is over, hang tight and keep reading since I can't at the moment!

Good luck with everything Keary! For what it's worth, that entire area is gorgeous - I would love to live in a place like that.

p.s. bought my cousin (for christmas) who loves angel mythology your newly revamped Fall of Angels series and she loved it! she adores the covers.
