What's Up With Keary

I'm finally starting to get back into normal life again after getting back from the visit to see the family.  So here's a little catch up on what's been going on:

Maybe sometimes I'm a little bit too open about all of my writing stuff.  Maybe I should keep things to myself a bit more but what can I say, I just love sharing.  So here's what's on my mind first.  Eden.  I think I've finally decided what I'm going to do.  As you know I've been heavily debating if I publish it independently again or if I try to go the agent/traditional route.  I keep seeing so many things both ways and it's had me really torn.  But I've decided that I'm going to pick my top 10 agents I would love to be represented by and send out query letters in about a month.  If nothing happens there I will be totally fine with it and move on and get it ready to put out there for everyone.  Other great news: The artist for my image on the Eden cover I have been using (you know, the amazing eye one) finally found me and I'm working on getting rights to it right now so I could actually use it as my cover!  I've literally been trying to track him down for 6 months now and he finally found me!

So for right now, I'm going to start working on my synopsis and query letter.  I'm kinda scared out of my mind about synopsis', lol.  They're as hard as writing the book for me almost...  I will work on that till Saturday while I keep waiting for my beta readers to finish *hint hint* and resume editing on Monday.

The other thing I've been working on the last few days is a bit of a small announcement I guess.  As you know, I LOVE doing graphic design stuff, especially cover design.  I have a bad habit of volunteering myself to help with covers for free and end up totally swamping myself.  I've decided I have to restrict myself and just can't do it all for free anymore.  So, I've been designing a new website for it.  I want to work mostly with other Indie authors and am trying to keep my rates VERY affordable.  I really REALLY want to help!  The website is still a bit rough and I still have to get my own domain name but check it out, share it with anyone you might know needs a cover: http://www.wix.com/klandon771/indiecoverdesigns

I will do a post in a few days talking about the cover design stuff more but for now you should be able to find most the info on the site.  And please let me know what you think of it!

Alright, I need to stop procrastinating and attempt to pound out a draft of a synopsis!  Have a wonderful day!

Wishing you much luck on querying...and don't sweat the synopsis (from what I hear, it doesn't hold too much weight w/agents anyway)!

The thing I love about your designs is that they are classy, you look at them and think qaulity and that is so important. I am really excited by this new venture of yours! I will email you!!

It was there that the novelty of a designer bag consignment-for- resale online business was born, Tresormakati. Years later, it became difficult for me to bring around the bags to show to clients *I got prego with kid #2* so I decided to put up shop in Makati.
