Yes, that sad thing is what I've been using for a desk the last 2 years or so. I wrote Vindicated, Eden/The Bane, What I Didn't Say, The Human, and the first draft of The Eve at that thing.
So, for my birthday, I finally bought myself a proper desk. It took me 2 hours to put together. But it is so worth it.
No more dangerous wobbling side to side. No more (well, not as many) cords hanging all over the place. There are drawers and cabinets to put stuff away.
Perhaps this will motivate me to finish decorating/putting together the rest of the office...
