Graphic Design Stuff

I did a post a while ago on my other guilty pleasure in life, next to writing, graphic design.  I'm not a professional and everything I have learned how to do I've taught myself or learned from tutorials online.  I would love to go to actual graphic design school someday but until I can afford to clone myself, I simply don't have enough hours in the day.  But I love doing it.  I've done all my own covers (except the first edition of Branded) and I've done a few for some other writer friends.  So I just thought I'd share some of my creations with all of you!

This was the alternative blog header I made when I did all my changes.  I really like this one, just like the simplicity of my current one a little bit more.

This is the cover I designed for the lovely Nicole MacDonald.  You can buy The Arrival on Amazon HERE.

This another mock-up cover I did for Eden.  I still like the mechanical eye one best but I really like this one as well.

Just a littler banner I made for another book idea I have that I'm hoping to start working on as soon as I've totally finished Eden.

This is something that is just totally random.  It means nothing at all.  I was just really, really bored one Saturday afternoon and just goofing around in Photoshop.  I did like the way it turned out though.

You've all seen this one before.  Just an Eden teaser.

Another cover for a friend, Diamond Pitts!  Amazing writer at only, I think it's 17!

Another alternative Eden cover design, admittedly inspired partly by Ally Condie's cover for Matched.

My cover for Ever Burning, the first book I wrote.  I throw this one in only cause I don't think many people have seen it and I really love the way it turned out, even if there is one small mistake in it ;)

I hope you enjoyed these!  I have a blast making them and I try to learn new things all the time!  Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Talented. Especially considering you haven't had professional training!

Apple made a big deal about this mode because it replaces the need to go in and flip a bunch of switches and options on your own when you need more battery life. It even flips switches you didn’t know existed according to the announcement on stage. For iPhone 6 owners the new Low Power Mode can deliver up to three added hours of use.
