But then that moment of fear passes and a sense of absolute joy and accomplishment replaces it. Because I am my own boss, no one tells me how to write these stories. Because I am a creator of worlds and control how these characters live and die. Because every day I open myself up to critique and criticism by having my work out there for anyone to read. And I know I can handle it.
